Uh,no. It is though a sign of the current economic times and how the H2 has fallen out of favor. Not that I mind, though. Im searching for a nice 05 as we speak..

If I could just sell my jeep I'd be in one in a heartbeat!!! I'm looking at an 05 white SUT with 45k miles on it for $26k with an extended warranty.

This reminds me of the Arab Fuel Embargo in the fall of 1973. At the time I was driving an "orbit orange" 400 Ram Air III GTO. It got 7 to 9 mpg on ethyl on a good day. For two years the trade in value of the GTOs went down the tubes, mainly because of gas shortages, the high cost of gas, and poor mileage. In 1975 they stopped making the GTO and the trade in prices were a few hundred dollars tops, even for mint ones. THEN about 1980 they started going up every year till today that car goes for $55,000 plus.
Emotions take hold of us as human beings and those that ride out the storm profit, just as with the stock market. People believe all the 5 and 6 dollar a gallon gas tales and emotions kick in. This is not the time to sell a Hummer, but there never will be a better time to buy.
