Hey Arizona Owners and those that are close or in the neighborhood., Myself and a few others are talking about getting together and just meeting some other owners. A couple places have come up where we could go and do a little trail drive or just meet somewhere for lunch or dinner.

If any other are interested in joining us please post up with your suggestions as far as a date and what you would like to do and we will post a scheduled event Monday. Come on out and meet some others that share the same enthusiasm for the H3. More to follow

Thanks,
Mike

Mike Sounds great! Maybe we can all contribute some ideas. Here’s one.
We could go to Butcher Jones (near Saguaro Lake) I was out there 2 weeks ago, and there was a Range Rover off road class going on out there. It is a great place for beginners as well as some small technical spots for the more advanced. The area is a pretty open, some narrow spot if you go down into some of the canyons, but if you stay on top you shouldn't get any battle wounds. There are a few good hills out there to climb as well. We can all get down to the Lake for some photos together too.
Everyone, post up if you have an idea. Let's try to get a date set too. I am thinking Sunday October 23, 2005. Now, what is everyone else thinking? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Tim

You should try and meet up with the arizona hummer owners group. They seem pretty active.

http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gifI agree on an beginner to advance area, but maybe we can all meet up at a local resturant establishment and come up with a plan of a good event. I love the Crown King trail, and Butcher Jones area is as YellowH3 said a great place to do alot of different terrain from mild to wild.
Also WOMAN are always welcome and if they are driving huge bonus point. I just want to get out with other Arizona H3 owners and have a great time and meet some new offroad and H3 enthusists. The 22nd would be better for me as I will be working at the Cardinals Game on the 23rd. But again we can all meet for a burger and a beverage and work out an event or two. Let me know I am game for anything... Hell I have an H3!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
PS Was a Pleasure meeting you the other day Tim and I look forward to getting out and running some trails soon.

Maybe meet in the Cave Creek area? There're a few places up there to get a burger and a beer and hang out for a while..

I will be getting together with 2 of the guys from the local HUMMER dealer. They are already H1, H2 certified. They just returned home from HUMMER University, H3 certified. We will be out at Crown King Sunday morning around 9:00am. They will be testing some prototype accessories for the H3. They have extended the invitation for anyone in the area with an H3 to join us. I think this is a great tool for people who don’t have much experience off road, and I’m sure some of us old timers will learn a thing or two. These guys were trained by HUMMER and backed by HUMMER. If you are interested, please post up and let me know A.S.A.P. Everyone is welcome, just bring an H3 http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Thanks, Tim

I'm still interested too. I drove through some mud puddles at the end of shnebley road in Sedona on Sunday. It was kinda fun but not 2 hour drive up there kind of fun. Does anyone know any areas around phoenix?

Okay....third times the charm.

Any more info on which dealer is doing the run? And when?

"Dude" sorry, the run was last week. It was a last minute thing. I posted it on the 19th and the run was on the 23rd. It didn't really give anyone time to plan. We decided to cancel it and maybe wait until we can get a few more people with H3's interested. I didn't have internet access from the 21st until yesterday. Sorry for the confusion.
