Removing fake air cleaner covers.

Anybody know how to remove the fake air cleaner towers at the corners of the hood? They seem to be a seperate peice but I cannot figure out how they are held on. Thanx (Thinking about maybe painting them).

Plastic clips. Just pull them straight off.

That is what I thought, But they were not coming off and I didnt want to pull too hard and break the friggin thing. Thanx, Ill try it.:D
