Not sure what we have planned today so I'll borrow from yesterday and wish you all a wonderful Sunday. Besides, I might not have plans yet but I enjoy reading all of yours.

We had a great time with friends tonight. We met at Pier Park and ate at Hofbrau Beer Garden which is obviously German food. It was my first authentic German food and it was delicious. Our friend had Jagerschnitzel and that was the best of all other than the potato pancakes which I love to death. I had some kind of rolled steak with saurkraut and these candied apple type things that were yummy. I also drank some of the beer out of some guy's stein. He was an employee and C knew him. I'm not a fan of beer but it was nice of him to share.

We then went to see Lakeview Terrace in the knick of time and we all loved it. Great movie! Then we hung out at Starbucks then walked around and chatted. That was fun. We were making fun of C's dog's name which is Tater. She was saying it wasn't a redneck dog name but come on! LOL You don't get more country than tater.

Now we're back home setting up our fireplace. Yes, we have an electric one but it's pretty. Let's hope this one doesn't break like our others have in the past but I did purchase the extended warranty so it's their problem if that happens. We might need it too since it's already down to 58 tonight and for me, that's nippy.

Started out early with a baily, cc & lox, and of course starbucks...

then got lazy...wanted to see what Powell had to say and was disappointed...its now 4:20 and have done nothing but read, nap, e-mail, youporn.com...

You know, WOMEN are complicated !!! I'm getting mixed signals from one who is single and a long time friend...

oh well

Yeah, German food is good. It's even better when you don't have an obnoxious German MIL telling you the entire time what's wrong with each dish. :notallthere:

Today is bittersweet. One more week till the haunted house runs. Which is good in that it's been consuming almost every weekend since July - I'd like to move on to another project already. But bad in that this has been our baby, it's going to be sad when it's over and done with. We put a lot of work into it for just one night. If I can get at least 2-3 kids having nightmares from it, that's all worth it then. Hubby should be finishing everything up tonight....next Saturday we just have to meet with the actors (8 of them!) to do a dry run and then start the last minute stuff like exterior set up and splattering blood everywhere.

The Cowboys sucketh today. I flipped over to watch Napoleon Dynamite instead. It was funny to see the 3 yr old dance the Napoleon dance scene. :)

The 6 mo old started crawling on Friday and is picking up speed now. We have everything babyproofed but the toddler isn't thrilled that the baby is getting into all of his toys now. Tantrums galore.

Smoked a couple of racks of baby backs for 5 hours.

Went to BJ's while the racks were on and got some junk the wife wanted. The only things I cared about were the giant ribeyes and brisket I got. Since she's gone vegetarian again I get to eat it all.:dancingbanana:

Watched the race. :D
