Just got back from looking at an '06 H2 bone stock (except tinted windows) with 50K miles.

Put a grand down as deposit and going to get the paperwork going.

Buying it for payoff... $22750 bucks.

The day I take possession of it, I'm stripping it down.... satin black, here I come.

Congrats Mark! Now lets see what you do with your new rig....itll be the first satin black that ive seen. Only thing is these rims are big...i would say at least 26"...and when you say more aggressive tires do you mean mud or performance?:

I want to lower the truck an inch or two. When I say more aggressive, I'm talking more mud... I really like the kumho mt kl71 tires.

Because I want to lower it and not screw with the gear ratio, I'm thinking a set of 22" Rockstars (or whatever the tallest rim I can get for a set of 35's... it might have to be 20's) on a set of 35" tires. I think stock tires actually measure out at 33" (though they say 35's)

I'm in the process of ordering a supercharger for it now and as soon as I hear back from a fellow member, I'll order my flares.

Here's a pic of the tire and wheels I want.

If you run the Kumhos i think you have to get a 37in tire regardless of if you go with 20,22 or 24 in rim. If you want a 35in tire you are restricted to a 20in rim or smaller i believe. The stock tires are actually right at 35in. Im not sure how much you could drop it and still run a 35 and im sure you cannot if you run a 37in. I ran the Kumhos in a 37x13.50(actually 12.50) R20 and i was not impressed. Looks wise the tread is nice but the sidewall pattern is essentially non existant although the pictures makes it look nice. They also handled terribly and the sidewall felt very soft when cornering. In mud and wet sand they worked like a champ. On rocks they were ok.

Well, after some looking, it looks like I'm going to have to settle for the rockstars in 22" and a set of Nitto grapplers at 35". (I think the Kuhmos are going to be too much for the look I'm going for)

There only seems to be a couple of tires that can run that small (35's) and still accomodate 22" tires....

Now, my only question is to go with 9.5, 10 or 12" wide wheels. I'll check out the tires to see what the widest wheel I can use with the tires.

A set of 325/50/22's are 12.79" wide. That means I should be running a 10" wide wheel. (which will actually be good....)

SUV... and black. I chose black so when I do the satin black paint, I won't have to worry about the engine compartment.... just the jambs.

BTW, I've decided on these rims instead of the Rockstars.

Right now, until I find something else I like, I'm going with these instead of the Rockstars.

Hey, I have a couple of the Rockstar's for sale that are still in the boxes. One was going to be my spare and the other was sent in error for the store and they never picked up on it. I also have a brand new Toyo M/T that has never been mounted for sell that I was going to use for the spare. PM me if you decide to go this route, I might can save you a little money. Thanks....Jamie
