If women's underwear is stolen, is it offensive to say it was "snatched"?
We've been mulling that very question since hearing that Dallas police are searching for a thief who recently took Victoria's Secret to the cleaners, nabbing $1,067 worth of undies (http://crimeblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2008/11/panty-thief-robs-victorias-sec.html).
The panty raider ran into the store and grabbed them off a table in the middle of the afternoon. Evidently he had a female accomplice who held the door open (and who we imagine got a couple pairs of the ill-gotten drawers). No word yet on what sizes or styles were nabbed.
It's not exactly clear how these robbers plan to move the hot lingerie (http://www.lemondrop.com/2008/10/17/bras-latest-lift-for-black-market/), but there are plenty of places online where they could hock the goods after they've been worn ... or so we've heard.
