We have all heard about GM and thier sorry woes. Its pretty much inevitable that the Hummer brand is either getting sold or wil be dissapearing. But I was wondering how they are currently doing. Anybody have any inside info about thier sales? How is the new H3T selling?

Things are quiet at all dealers! I went by my dealer a week ago to look at a 2009 H2 with thoughts of adding it to our 2006 H2 SUT. The last and best of the breed???? I took it for a test drive and I love the new instrument panel and 2008 type seats. I always rest my right arm on the center console and the padded console is another plus.
I also drove one of the 2009 H3s (first time in an H3 & this one had the adventure package) and I really liked it too, much more than I thought I would. They were ready to make a real good cash/no trade in deal on the H3. Since this will be for the wife, I need her to drive it too and let her get what she wants, but it would be a big savings over the new H2. I was there about two hours and I was the ONLY PERSON there the whole time except for two people waiting on service on their H3s.

I don't think any new car dealers are doing very well right now.
New cars are a luxury item..... with the economy like it is...... people are just making do with what they have a little longer.
Unless you are stuck with a lease or have a few extra bucks in the bank. New cars aren't moving.

Dealership in Virginia has pontiacs/GMC/chevies on its lot with a couple of h3's. Definantly not looking good here!

This is odd considering gas is $1.43 now here in colorado.
I filled up my h2 yesterday, from really empty...below where the distance till empty could display miles left. Cost me about $43....to fill it with PREMIUM!

HUMMER is quiet everywhere, but good incentives (red tag sale), the H3T, and the holiday spirit of spending are helping out a little. The F150 plant just added another shift to boost production because of demand - maybe that's a good sign for pickups. Don't get me wrong, it's still way off from last December, but any increase is a welcome one right now.
