I'm not positive, best bet would be to call the dealer and ask. But your warranty should cover you, however on a GM that I previously owned had a small cosmetic issue and when I took it in they told me that the mech's were for the 36K and the cosmetic was only 12K.

Like I said, confirm with a phone call though...

I'm not sure you will get any more answers since you didn't say HELLO first !!!

My 06 H2 had the dreaded peeling chrome issue on it and the dealer advised they were going to order me new wheels since this was clearly a warranted item......but before I got them on it....I traded it on the 08 H2....I've also read many threads on here about this issue and the dealer will replace if pushed or they are good at customer service....and assuming your truck is within the warranty period of course.

Thanks for the replies. I was told to bring it back to the dealership next week.

Wheels are strange...because if they're peeling from salt/corrosion from the roads, GM states that it is NOT covered. BUT - some dealers have been able to get GM to take the warranty wheels for that very reason calling it 'abnormal'...it's not really the dealer as much as it is the local GM rep that says yay or nay. Worth a try!

They replaced all 3 of them ( ) on 06 H3 without any question. Forth rim was not that bad so they left it.
