Anyone ever been to Hummer Of South Portland in Maine? They are cuurently filling the lot with Mitsubishi. They brought all the Hummers to their Chevy dealership next door. Seems funny to me. I asked them why. They say they want to find out what GM does with the brand before they make any decisions. HMMM?!

Bought my 06 there back in may. At that time they had combined Chevys and Hummers in the Humer show room and no real inventory. I went back over the summer and they were liquidating the Hummer Gear ( shirts, hats etc.) and the Hummer showroom had one H2 and the rest were all chevys. It just keeps getting more dismal for Hummer out there.

Hey All,
I bought my 07 H3 there way back in June of 07. Even then the slection was limited... I ended up buying mine thru Pape Chevy down the road, (same dealership). Jun and Mike were the sales guys I talked to, seemed nice, but didn't take me for the kinda kid that could afford a Hummer, so I bought it thru the Chevy Guys. They didn't seem interested in calling me back or offering me the options I wanted...made a big deal on how they would have to have one brought up from Rhode Island for me to see.
but still, it does seem like Pape is phasing out this Hummer branch

It does seem like they are phasing it out. Mitsubishi makes up the Hummer lot now. I told one of the sales guys there last week that their Hummer lot is pitiful! LOL! I went to Quirk Hummer in Manchester, NH a few weeks back and even though their Hummer building is closed, they still have a bunch of Hummers in front of it. They also have about 10 H3's in the Chevy lot. I think i may buy from Quirk next time i buy a new Hummer.

Yeah, I bought my old H3 Alpha there......They never did seem interested in calling me back either....
One word of advise: Do not take your Hummer back to the chevy store to be serviced for anything! They supposedly did an oil change for me, and actually never changed it..and the same for a recall....said they did it, billed GM, and never replaced a part....I had the same part when I got the truck back:(
So just be careful where you bring your truck to be fixed!
