I just got a new toaster. The old one has been pissing me off for years and I want to run it over with my truck. I have 37" Goodyear MTRs. The toaster is a 2-slice cheapo chrome piece of crap. What kind of damage will I risk to my tires if I back the MF over several times? Unplugged, of course.

Get the toast out first and there should be no problem http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Disclaimer: if you get tire damage, I was kidding and don't really know the risk http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Stacy,
drop a cinderblock on it.Why risk a heating element running just the right way into your tire thus a needless hole?
Just me.

Take a bat to it "Office Space" style on the driveway. That way you can get your frustrations out and really see the damage being done. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

And then you won't give it the opportunity to piss you off even more by hurting the beloved vehicle. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Don't forget to air down! The recommended tire pressure for driving over toasters is 25 PSI http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

The risk of running over a toaster is huge; it’s fraught with all types of potential problems.

Pewter rigs are exempt.

you could always just throw a mat over it, or a piece of plywood, then drive over that...if you're that concerned about it....I would hate to see you damage those spinners... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

and yes, pics please http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Ok....got a plan.

H2 with a 3/4" sheet of plywood. Dropped onto concrete from the 2nd story window. Aluminum baseball bat to top it off with. I also might try out the recipricating saw if it's still giving me lip.

Hey, isn't a toaster just a re-badged Tahoe?? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Stacy, I've rethought this and maybe you shouldn't try to run over your toaster.

OMG!!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif its a toaster for crying out loud....
if you beat it with a bat you could end up in jail with a law suit pending. You could get arrested for cruel and unusal punnishment and have to pay all of your neighbors for the mental trama that you caused them when they saw you taking out your vengance on the poor thing.
However... if you were to inadvertantly leave the little bugger on you driveway and accidently back over it, you would be able to claim that it had escaped from you kitchen and snuck out of the house, then you could sue the toaster manufacturer for $$$$Millions, claiming mental distress and that they should have provided some sort of warning device that would have alerted you to the fact the the toaster had escaped. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
