I need the part # for the side clip that holds the cargo net to the side panel.(1 inch round w/tab in middle)

My brother in law tossed his luggage in and caught the net and snaped the clip:twak: (last time I pick him up at the airporthttp://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif)

The last guy worked for a dealer and was running it out of his house and Fvcked it up .

Im going to check one more time ,then Ill stop by local dealer or get it from GMpartsdirect Ther min shipping was higher, but I bought from them before and parts come fast no hassles

DO NOT BUY FROM Hummerparts.com http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/images/icons/icon13.gif

I just ordered them from gmpartsonline. the shipping was like $12, but the part itself was like $2.24, i ordered 3 since i see them breaking again. my dog snapped the first one hopping into the back before i could remove the cargo cover. but i like having the cover to hide anything i have in the back whether its valuable or just covering a mess!

Im removing the rear double seat putting in a platform (with storage under it)
Installing a 32 inch X 6 foot matteress(extra they sent me wrong one with camper and told me to keep it then sent correct one)
Also a box behind other rear seat with the fridge and dog bowls built in.

Mostly new set up for Dog that I can use 1 back seat.
Also for napping during my road trip to NM with the camper in may/june

Yah Know.... I could never get that sucker to lock down on the fixed portion. In other words... HTF does the removable portion lock onto the stationary clip.

Any body got a pic..??? I' must be a dumbass:violin:

If your talkin about how to mount the shade, you hook the loop on the shade to the clips then hook the hooks on the shade to the rear seat last.
If your talkin about how to mount the clip it just snaps in.:giggling:

No.....I'm talken about the rear cargo net clip behind the rear seat on the well panel. The clip on the stretch cord does not seem to lock down to keep the cargo net from popping off. See the pic's below..I have tried several different positions but my DUMBASSS can't seem to firure out how to lock that sucker on...

I beleve thats to hold the seatbelt in place.

Do you have the cargo net or the cargo shade

If its the shade the loop part mounts near rear hatch on the circular clips and the hook part goes on the metal holder behind seat.

I think the cargo net uses clips to that metal holder behind seat

Boy..I am A DUMASS...:D .. I have the Cargo Net... So where do the "HOOP" ends from the cargo net go then...???

I have the cargo net mouted behind the rear seats not in front of the rear cargo door .

The Snap Clips on the cargo net BOTTOM are cliped to the floor deck receivers. The top of the cargo net HOOPS I thought went where pictured in the last shot.

Then...If Not..Where TF do they go ....:crying:

Ok.. I just went out and repositioned the clip and put it on the seat belt.. that makes sense. But WTF is that side mounted pointy part where the elastic from the belt retainer goes..??..

Gvie me a min and I'll shoot some pic's Back in a few...

Ok, Here's some more pic's of the way the seat beelt clip is set now. The Manual said nothing about thses clips. Look at the pic with the pointy part mounted to the side wall...Is that Correct in that posistion..?? Does it just float..??

The net just hangs .you got it:beerchug: You could mount the bottom to the cargo floor if needed.

I think they hold the belt down for kids or vertically challenged adults.
I tuck mine in(on the side of the seat as I covered the back seat for the dog)

seat belt looks right
It just sits in the holder for storage I guess
I slide the seat belt in there also so its tucked in out of the way.

I have to build my new setup so I can use my right back seat then ill probobly leave the one seatbelt hanging out.

OK ...Found something else out... Went over to my Neibhoors house next door. She has an 07 H3X. Thet clip also conects to the belt coming out of the panel going over the top slide loop.

Meaning that both pieces of the belt...the feed from the side panel and down over the loop are doubled up and held in that one palstic clip.

The stationary pointed piece faces forward I guess to keep the belt guided away from the seat when you fold it back.
