Hummer back order parts?

My 06 needs to have the heater control unit replaced and I am being told by my dealer that this is on national back order. I use a service that can check all dealers nationwide to see if they have any showing in stock and I confirmed there are none!

So my concern is with Hummer having its doors closed right now, are the suppliers going to produce any of these parts still for the warranty/repair market?

considering that the HVAC module is common for H2, Suburban, Yukon, and pickup trucks-i'd say more of a supplier issue than a hummer one.

I believe Hummer or any automotive manufacturer has to supply replacement parts for a certain amount of time even if they stop production of the vehicle.
