Has anybody changed there Rads for aftermarket, and if so what brand, how much, and where??

Thanks in advance. Ed

I did but it basically happened when I installed the supercharger anyways.

I talked to a tech friend of mine and he made a good point that for the most part, if the lines break going into the trans, it doesn't get into the antifreeze.

I was going to do mine for safetly but think I'll pass right now.

Food for thought...

I changed mine out for a Ron Davis dual core radiator without the internal tranny heat exchanger and then added a tru-cool tranny cooler with thermal bypass. Engine/tranny never get hot anymore, but still have a problem with power steering getting too hot when offroad in tight corridors and moving slow where no air makes it over PS cooler. This only happens offroad in summer heat

The Ron Davis radiators are not cheap but are worth every penny. If I had to do it over again, I would do the electric fan conversion as well

I got mine from Breathless Performance and it works great! I too have a SuperCharger.

You sure got that right! I just discovered that one of the wires running to one of my brushguard mounted off-road lights was resting against one of the coils on the power steering external cooler. The cooler got so damn hot that the flex conduit that protected the wires was melted and fused to the cooler. At least the flex conduit did it's job and protected the wires, or there would of been a dead short the next time I turned on the lights! I'm really thinking of a mod to keep the PS fluid cooler, like an aftermarket PS cooler (if there is such a thing).

I wouldn't mind a higher capacity PS pump either!
