The only concern I've had about replacing my wives Envoy with a H3 has just been relieved. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I drove a H3 with the off road pkg and auto home from work last night, and just to see how it would tow hooked up my snowmobile trailer to it. The loaded trailer weighs in at 3500#, the aero drag that makes pulling this trailer tough on the freeway. Suburbans and FS pick-ups can't hold 4 gear much beyond 70 on the flat without constant down shifting. With the H3 I left it in 3rd gear and had it running at 70 with little trouble. While not quite as good as the Envoy with the extra 50hp and 410 gears it did a respectable job. here's a pic of the trailer, and yes I know that's a H2 not a H3 in the pic http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

How do you think the H3 would do towing 4000-4500 lbs with an automatic?
Thanks,
Bob
