As you guys know GM is shutting down Hummer, and boulder went under near a year ago. Well the winch bumper that was originally $3500 is now $867(including freight which was $395 to NC{so i got the winch and bumper for 472}) on ebay from autostrada or something. It comes with a 9500 milemarker witch is worth like 650 itself. I don't know how many they have left, but if you want one, I suggest grabbing one now. I also got the rear axle slids for the shock mounts for $42. I'll post some pics when I get them. :D

WOOP WOOP!!!!! got my rear axle skid today! winch bumper comes in on friday. Has anyone else taken advantage of this?
I would like to pick up one of those. I would think it would mount up to a H3T ok. There aren't really any differences in the front end on the 09's compared to the 08's? Anybody know?

Bumper design changed in 08, so 08-09 front ends (including H3T) will be the same.
Thanks Brian. I just bought one of them. I will post pics once installed.

Ok, thanks for the tip. I was going to stick new rubber on the T first but this was too good to pass up. Can't wait to get it installed.

Those skids only decrease your ground clearance and make the problem worse and cause you to get hung up easier. These are a better solution:

for 3/8 inch ground clearance and a flat surface, no way does it get hung easier than a cup with four bolts sticking down
How long did it take for the seller to send you tracking info?

i just got my bumper today. he shipped monday i think and I could have gotten it yesterday but I wasnt home to sign
I figured I would have some tracking info within a day or so. I have never bought from Ebay before so I'm a little apprehensive. I would imagine I would hear something by Monday? I bought it yesterday.

Want to place a bet on that? I have seen it with my own eyes and others have had the same problem with them: http://www.clubhummeroffroad.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4108&page=3
There is actually 2-3/8" difference between your setup and ours with the new Trail Duty Low Profile Plates on our H3;)

The BA skids do protect the shock mount. It does leave the bolt head exposed somewhat though. It alos kills g.c. back there. I for one have got hung up on them due to teh lower hanging flat plates. I got hung on both plates and rear diff. tomp's design is far superior to these skids.
the point of these skids is protection, and they do that just fine, but if you are going to push your 3 offroad and want that extra clearance, go with tomps setup. ...my 2 cents. ...esp. if you're already switching out to 35" tires, you'll gain even more g.c. back there.
My BA skids are coming off soon.

Ok. Does anyone have a picture of the other skids mounted? I'd like to to see how they bolt up. 2 3/8s is a big difference
My bumper is in!! Gonna go pick it up today and hopefully install it tonight. The skidplate won't be here until Friday so I'll post some pics of the H3T when completed.
Is this supposed to have instructions? I received no paper work with it. It looks simple enough but does anybody that has done the install have anything out of the ordinary you have to do?

Youre paper work should have been inside the crate and padding along with all the hardware fro mounting and the winch control. If it wasnt then you should call autostrada.

Hey Tom, if you move the hook to the outside of the H3's tow hook, that crimp on the cable wont interfere with the folding licenses plate as much;)
I emailed them and received the instructions. They sent me them this morning and now I see what else I am missing. The missing parts would explain alot. They are sending me all the hardware. The only thing I received was the bumper/winch and nothing else. Guess I'll finish it tomorrow.

thanks tomp for the simple tip on moving the cable hook to the outside of the truck hook I can now tighen the winch cable a little more and not interfere with the license plate. No rattle either.
