I forgot to add to my previous post that I also have a leak in my air suspension although I suspect it is a stuck valve. I have read the previously posted threads on this but did not see my problems.

Here it is: The pump is the originial single chamber pump and does not constantly run. When the truck is parked, sometimes the rear will be sagging. It does seem to be affected by the temperature. The colder it is outside, the more likely the rear will sink. Again, not always.

This seems to indicate that there may be a valve that is getting frozen open as moisture may gather in the lines.

Any thoughts or experiences you can share is appreicated.

I have not checked the air bags. Is soapy water the best way to test? And how difficult is it to change? Thanks.

Yes, definitely sounds like an air bag leak. Not that easy to do yourself but there was a video on you tube on how to do it yourself.

yeah soapy water a lot of the time u can hear it. its normally in teh fold of the bag. basic run down....

jack the truck let the axels hang.. stab the bag to get the air out. they twist off disconnect the air line and do the process backwards..

go to gmpartsdirect.com to get the bags. they r like 90 bucks on there
