Just a warning to any that want to deal with Hummer Hub. I ordered a Defender Worx fuel trim ring from them March 23.

The trim ring came in and was wrong. Apparently an '06 SUT uses a different ring. Okay, no big deal, get me the right one or refund my money and I'll buy it somewhere else.

It is not April 15th and after leaving bunches of messages (they have an answering service answering calls) and a few emails, someone called me back and told me to ship it back on their dime. They gave me their FedEx number and said they would send me the correct item. (they had another supplier)

There was a major accident on the highway outside of my shop so instead of using FedEx, I paid for shipping at another shipper that was closer. No big deal, my time sitting in traffic was worth more than 12 bucks.

So now 3 weeks later, I have not heard back from anyone, no phone calls, no emails, nothing.

Just thought that if this is there standard customer service, you guys should know about it before ordering anything.

Just an update....

I sent the guy an email telling him what crappy service I was receiving and that I was going to post on our hummer forum.

Lo and behold, I got an profusely apologetic phone call from the guy saying he will refund my money.

At least he made it right.

Still no paypal refund. I realize it's only a couple of days but a paypal refund is less than a 2 minute job. (and that's only if you hunt and peck like boss hoss)

Went through the exact same crap with them a couple of years back. Took them several months to refund my money for a damaged chrome hood insert i received...but FINALLY did get my refund after 10-15 phone calls. I will NEVER deal with them again. Good luck.

I sent an email to Hummerhub telling them about their crappy service and why I hadn't received a refund yet.

He sent me this email today.

Available for the the 03-06 Hummer.

Did I miss something? Was I suppose to differentiate between SUT's and SUV's.

I sent him an email telling him I expected nothing less. Crappy company for sure.

Paid almost 100 bucks for a trim ring. Got 68 back, lost 2.30 to paypal, spent 12 bucks shipping...

Worked out well. Spent almost a hundred, ended up with roughly half. Anyone got some stocks I can invest in?

I wouldn't buy from Hummer Hub if they were giving it away.

I agree. It's the principle, it's not the money. We've all wasted a shietload more money on dumber stuff.

Anyway, at least I'll know better next time.

Oh well.
