Hi, I got a Visualogic DVD system off ebay for my '03 H2 Lux a couple of weeks ago from the seller that has all the Boulder Accessories stuff. It's the optional Hummer system with headrests, DVD player in a console insert and FM modulator. My question is: where do you plug the power connection inside the console? I figured out the rest of the connections (the instructions that came with it were photocopies of photocopies) but even with the console insert out and the back of the console off I can't find a matching plug. Will I just have to hard wire in a ignition-off hot and a ground? It'd sure be nice if I could just plug that in somewhere... Thanks for the help.

Oops, my bad. I searched first, I swear, but back on page 8 I found the same question with an answer that there isn't a nice plug waiting for me. I'll snip off the plug and hard wire it in.

Hi, just read your post. I have the same DVD system, and there is not a matching plug, it plugs into the accessory fuse panel. It is under the drivers side dash. Direct plug in into the accessory fuse panel, think its the second or third port on the top row. Isnt hard, only will plug into the correct socket. Good luck!!

Thanks! I was digging through the owner's manual yesterday and I saw that they purposely left a few accessory spots open on the fuse panel. When the fresh snow melts off the Hummer today (gotta love Spring in Montana) I'll pop off the cover and check it out.

...it plugs into the accessory fuse panel. It is under the drivers side dash.
Is that the panel on the far left end of the dash (accessible when you open the door) or the fuse/relay panel underneath the dash? I popped the fuse panel cover off on the end of the dash and only see the standard spade fuses there and no place I could plug in the connector? Thanks again.

The fuse panel your looking for is the one under the dash. Plugs right in. The hardest part was pullin out the factory radio to plug in the FM transmitter and routing all the cables for power and everything and keeping it all neat.! Oh, and there are 3 open spots that look like the power line for the dvd system will plug into, but dont worry, it will only fit in one. Good luck, hope that helps!!

I actually found it snooping around under the dash last night. It was too dark to see exactly where to plug it in and it's snowing pretty good now so I'll check it out when the weather cooperates. Thanks again for the help.

I really wish this unti had RCA's coming out of the back of it for audio. I installed a PAC unit and have an extra spot for an additional audio source, but doesn't look like there was anything but wires in the back of the Visualogic. Would sound a HELL of a lot better than the FM Modulator.

EZ Money, thanks again for the help. Once I found the right spot under the dash and (here's the real key) found the jumper harness that stretches from there to the harness that winds up under the console it just about fell in. My instructions were pretty much worthless and I didn't realise I had the jumper harness until I did some swearing and digging. I was really close to hard wiring the under-console harness into another power source.

With this DVD system there is no extra aux. outputs, but you can buy a spliter box to add another output to play the DVD on your head unit if you wanted to. ;)

Ok. I was trying to figure out if the headrest will play the a dvd or ehat ever is on my avic head unit. My head unit has nav/dvd/and ipod musicvid I can play. I guess I want to know if I can use my headunit and headrest together and then (change the channel) and use the dvd player like tyou do at home. Sorry I am not a audio guru. Just wondering if it would b worth picking up off ebay

You could use your head unit to play the dvd's on the headrests. And you wouldnt need to install the dvd player that comes with the headrests. either way they'd work just fine.
