Some time ago, I mentionned that my friend would install a system to play my usb stick / hard disk. Well, it's finished. This is the system :

Works GREAT !!! USB, Iphone/Ipod, flash card, hands free phone, ...
Keep using volume buttons on the steering wheel and of course plays through the BOSE sound system. And, I can still use the standard radio / cd player.

Here's some pics :

Does that directly control the iPod? It looks like a nice piece of equipment to integrate bluetooth phone control and peripheral devices, though it's a bit spendy.

Yep, controls the ipod. You should download the operators manual pdf file. It's about 36 pages full of info. it's worth it's money, since I never had a hands free kit installed in my truck either. It's all in one

I like it looks good nice to have one thing for all. Hows the hands free work, clear sound and not like your talking in a tin can.

Liking that. :beerchug:

I went for the cheapo approach and just added two extra inputs to my radio and just use a stereo mini jack straight into my phone or media players. Going to drop a dvd player into the onstar slot when i get time.
