I know its official GM is going to stop making Hummer, but does anyone know when the last ones will be made? Or is that all whats on Dealer lots now? I am hoping they will start the factory back up and build them for a few more months cause at my dealer, they have NO H2's at all on the lot, only H3's and H3T's.

From one day to the next, everything changes, I cant keep track anymore. On one day they say they have 3 buyers, and it should be sold by June, and there is still no word on it a new buyer is going to buy Hummer or if thats all.

I have two (2007 & 2008) Hummer H2's and I am thinking of going and getting a 2009 before they are all gone. I dont need it, and truthfully I would rather wait due to the economy being so bad, but there will NEVER be another vehicle built like the H2 again, once they are gone........thats it.

Although things are still up in the air, Hummer Guy is reporting on the new colors for the 2010 H2 (I like the new Storm Metallic color) and Mishawaka news sources are now saying the H2 plant is scheduled to restart production in late July or early August for the 2010 H2s.
The H3 plant is scheduled to start 2010 production in July according to engineers there, and dealers are placing orders for 2010 H3s. I've been trying to find out whatever happened to the H2 Black Chrome prototype and if we'll ever see one of them. If and when production starts all changes in the 2010 Hummers will most likely be cosmetic. Hopefully, we'll get some firm answers on this soon.

My son called yesterday afternoon to report that Fox News in Colorado was saying that Hummer had been sold and would be officially spun off. Haven't heard anything since and searching the web for Fox News and Hummer, I find nothing.
Is GM that concerned about a differnece of a few million for Hummer between a few bidders, when they are borrowing BILLIONS from the government and loosing even more in Hummer sales while people wait to see what's going to happen? They are really putting the remaining Hummer dealers between a rock and hard place. I personally think it's more pressure from the government to accept a US buyer that's delaying things, even if the bid is less and I'm all for that! SO if they delay the announcement and a US buyer gets Hummer, I'm behind the delay 100%.

Yeah, all this news and no real reports is getting tiresome. I have lost faith in GM and hope Hummer continues. I will always support the hummer brand. Hopefully we do here something concrete on Monday!

News yesterday said they were bought by the Chicoms but would continue to be "produced" in the USA.
