I think that in order to get the part I need HUMMER wants me to buy the entire silver shifter tray. All I need is the black strip I'm pointing to in the pic. I think mine got mangled during an audio install a while back. Any ideas...

You could probably make one out of some thin plastic material, not much to it. other than that, ya a wrecker.
