View Full Version : 2009 Bluetooth Upgrade in a 2008 H2 ?

Does anyone know if its possible to upgrade my 2008 H2 with the Nav. out of the 2009 so that I can have bluetooth?

I haven't been in or used the bluetooth in an 09 but I would really like to have it, and would prefer not to have an aftermarket unit mounted in my truck.

Any help would be great!

Hello:

You cannot install a 2009 Bluetooth Nav unit for a 2008, as I have found out when they had to replace my 2008 Nav unit. Dealer said that the cabling was different when contacting the NAV unit vendor.

You have to go after market, unfortunately. Although I read the post here about BlueStar, which I am interested to see results/feedback.

Thanks for your help! The BlueStar equipment does look interesting. Maybe I will try it out. I would love to hear some feedback from someone else that has tried it though.

Hello:

Can I ask if you installed the Bluestar yourself or did you have a professional shop do it? If you did it yourself, how hard was it, and if you brought it to a professional, was a local car stereo place or was it a Bluestar Installer?

Hey guys - just a quick note - I did install the bluestar in my 08 SUT and have not had any luck at all getting it to work with my iPhone - apparently its a known issue - has anyone out there had any luck?
