Just went out an pulled one (2003 model) and they are M10-1.5 X 25 mm long. Grade has me stumped, there is a boat anchor with a 9 under it. Not seen that before, even the service manual does not state what it means. It shows metric grade bolts like 8.8 or 9.9 and the like but not like above. My Machinery Hand book doesn't even tell me what it is. Suppose a Google search migh answer that one for ya

Slowly but surly I have been repaling my factory UCP bolts with longer SAE Grade8 Hardware. When you start mangleing your UCP you will too! lol

Just a quick tip. The service manual states the torque on UPC bolts is 22 ft lbs, which is slightly more than finger tight. If you tighten them too much the threads strip out of the frame......just got done fixing that.
Put some silicone sealer on the threads and that will keep them from falling out and allow removal. Do not over tighten them!
