I purchased the Kenwood DVD/Nav in dash setup, but the dvd doesn't show on screen while driving. It has a 12 foot video out line to connect to rear monitors though and with that in mind I purchased dual headrest dvd monitors. The problem is I can't seem to remove the original front seat headrests. Is there a trick to it?
added info: It's an '06 H3 Cloth headrest.

There's a small hole near the base (the plastic piece that the headrest slides into) that you need to stick something in while pulling out. I use a small hex wrench.

Jersey Im sure theres a way to get your dvd on when driving.
My eclipse uses the parking brake for the DVD to go on, the installer also hooked up a hidden switch .
If the switch is on Dvd will work.
If switch is off the parking brake must be on.
This way it apears to hooked up properly for insurance issues .
It might be wired to something else with your unit?.
Find the wire and hook up a switch.http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif
