Sometimes when I offroad I have items that I do not want in the cabin with me. I have no interest in a top carrier as it will not fit in the garage and is difficult to access.
So sometimes I use a aluminum Bumper buddy that fits in the rear receiver. Actually I have used it on the front as well. It works fine in NE where we only have two hills. In other states, it drags.
Here is my question, has any one designed some kind of 2" reciever step that would move the Bumper Buddy up to give me a better departure angle. Something that would fit into the standard receiver and then allow the standard Buddy to slip into it and it would then be level slightly higher than the top of the rear bumper.
Could really use pictures if someone has one.
Thanks in advance.
