Anyone know where to find a good repair manual for my '07? Been looking for a while and all I can find are the "repair cds" on eBay. I checked out Haynes and they don't make one....

Hi bought one from hummer for my 2008 it was $250 but its 4 big thick books. You may want to go to alldata its like $27 for one truck for a year or $45 for 5 years. It has all the inf. you would ever need plus all the TSB's i think its a good deal here is a link http://www.alldatadiy.com/buy/index.html hope this helps

Yup, do have it and have used it a lot over the years. It covers everything, it would be better if I had a Tech II scan tool because it helps you to isolate problems/codes, but it really does help when you have to do the mechanical things or to look for electrical gremlins (complete wiring diagrams).

Have used it to post pics here on the site when folks have questions, right HumminNBoatin' :D

Did put it in a large binder to keep it "all together" in one place.

And before it is questioned, the bottle in the one pic is sun screen for my bald head that I use when riding the scooter :fdance:

hi i think the manaul for my 2008 h2 is twice the size as the 2003, its got more stuff to go wrong. Having a bud with a tech2 is great when he is only a block away.

The 2008 Manual is more expensive, $150.00 for the "set" and must be because of the difference from the 2007 and the 2008. Is your book a Helm ?

hi Ed, mine was bought at the hummer dealer that price i said $250 was with my trade discount. I live in canada so we pay about 25% to 50% more for anything.

twr, Got ya on the cost, thanks, just the one more question, is it a Helm Set ? If not can you tell me the name of it please ? I am trying to figure why Helm does not list a four book service manual when Helm states.....

"Contains Factory Authorized Service information written by General Motors. It contains Diagnostic Information and Procedures, Schematics and Routing Diagrams, Component Locator, Repair Instructions, Description and Operation, Specifications, and Special Tools and equipment. Service information on HVAC, Body & Accessories, Restraints, Steering, Suspension, Driveline/Axle, Brakes, Engine and Transmission/Transaxle."

And they were suppose to be the best place to buy a complete service manual and if there is someone else making them for my reference I'd like to know about it.

Thanks much for your time twr, Ed

P.S. This is from the HUMMER site and is actually the Helm books http://www.helminc.com/helm/Result.asp?session=2F1B0C1804F544E2BFE8761CF965512 A&Style=DWXKD4HUM39D81A&Mfg=GMC&Make=HUM&Model=H2&Year=2008&Category=&Keyword=&Module=&selected%5Fmedia=

Hi Ed, the books are at my shop, i will have to check who made them and get back to you . I think i made a mistake their is 3 books not 4. The books have a green cover on them. I bought them at a chev, hummer dealer. My bud works at, in the parts department. They may be Helm but i am not sure but the price in the usa for $150 is about how we get ripped off at $250. The parts for a hummer in canada are 20% to 50% higher than you pay in the usa to WELCOME TO CANADA. I also have alldata for my truck and i use it more, its faster for me to find things. By the way what kind of scooter do you have?

Thanks for taking the time to do a follow up for us twr, appreciate it.

Got a 1999 HD Night Train with a lot of Performance Machine parts on it, wheels, brake rotors, belt pulley and brake calipers. Riding season is about over here in Ohio, fricking winter :giggling:

Sweet lookin scooters :beerchug: Great for the long rides. Mine are good for short rides because the ole lower back and neck start to act up after a couple hundered miles. I lowered it and it is a little rough on the body, sucks to get older, :giggling:

hi thanks, finally got the right size picture. I know what you mean getting older, i had a softtail about 7 years ago. I love the radio and lighter and the supercharger isn't bad either.

I bought the Helm set for my 2008 H2 SUV and it's a three-volume set, dark green in color, and they are nice. One thing I have noticed, however, is that there is a lot of stuff that they didn't actually update and I will be taking it up with them soon. The differences between the 2007 and 2008 aren't all in my set. Some of the pictures and diagrams are for pre-2008 models that have the huge round AC vents, as well as the old style mini-grille that needs to be popped out when installing a brush guard. My 2008 books' pictured depict the pre-2008 models, which is quite disappointing given the cost of this set.
