I am having to replace both passenger and driver side manifolds and I am wondering is better to go back with headers or stick with the factory manifolds. I have a mechanic saying that my engine light will be on all the time and that they leak. However, every where I look on the internet H2 owners are claiming success. I need some help on decideing fast!

Headers will work just fine. The only reason it will make your CEL come on is because the o2 sensors are not use to the volume of air that the headers bring through the exhaust. It will be the the rear o2's that would go bad. Just take it to a dyno shop, or if you have somebody that can just tune out the rear 2, o2 sensors. i plan on getting headers soon. you will see a difference on low end torque. And about 15hp. Just make sure you have a good aftermarket exhaust as well to get everything out of your headers. With a Air Intake, Headers, Exhaust, and Dyno tune you should see around 40+ rwhp
