I have a three part question. First, how many of you have tint laws in your state? Second, those that do have a "tint law" how many are darker than legal? Third, if you are darker than legal how many times have you been pulled over in your Hummer?

I've got 15% opacity all around on my black H2 and it looks awesome, but the state law requires no darker than 35% opacity on the front two windows. I'm having a hard time convincing myself to lighten it to 35%.

Thanks,
Shan

its 35% here in tn also. i have 20% all the way around on top of factory and all. and to be honest want to go a bit darker :giggling:

But i havent been pulled over once and have had it on for about a year now. i see people all over with limo 5% tint on. here in tn its kind of like a bonus. you wont get pulled over for your windows but if you get pulled over for speeding and they see your windows you MIGHT get a ticket.

naaah, screw it. in TN its the same 35%, but i'm from FL and its 23% there, I have only 35% on the H2 cuz I just wanted to match my back ones, but in the Roush I have 15% and I love it, I've had it for 4 years and I've never been pulled over once for the tint...... but...... i've sorta........been...... pulled over ... for other things...... like....................a lot.

My windows are all tinted as well. I have no clue what percentage they are but I do know that they are REALLY Dark. lol. But I have never been pulled over for it.

I honestly think that if you drive some ghetto'd out POS with crazy dark tint you are going to get pulled over. If you are driving a $70K+ vehicle with dark tint they think nothing of it. Kinda funny huh??? lol

I will say the only time I do not like the dark tint is a night when trying to back up.

Here in Louisiana it is no darker than 35% on the front two. Everything else can go limo 5%. I guess Louisiana cops don't care if all the bad crap goes down in the back seats. :D :D
