have a 2003 when fan is turned on for interior heat it makes a louder than normal sound especially on hi ,it sounds as though the motor is struggling ,heat and blow is good ,any suggestions ,how do you access motor is it behind the dash on right side ,is there a filter that could be blocked up

Not sure about location. But I believe the 03's had a cabin filter. Hopefully someone with an 03 will chime in here.

Some 03's and some did not, mine does not.

Check through some recent post, someone found a mouse nest in theirs and gave directions to remove it. If I find it I will post a link here.

ok stripped out the heater motor this morning took about 40 minutes to get, it out and put back, instructions were great.when i pulled the motor out there were some pine needles and debrit in the fan cage cleaned everything out and it works great .i guess those needles were enough to put a load on the fan .Thanks again for help.
