How hard does your transmission down shift?

Sometimes when I step on the gas to drop down a gear, my transmission slightly clunks... Or is rougher sometimes than others.

Is this normal?

Truck has 24,800 on it

Answered my own question on this one... 1 quart low, exactly! :confused:


How the heck does this happen?

No signs of leakage... I just got this truck, second owner so I guess time will tell if it holds its fluid or not.

The way it shifts after adding the fluid is night and day...

Wonder how much damage was done.... :lame:

Can they run a diagnostic test at the dealer?
