Installation of chrome tailgate handle

I have just replaced all my black door handle buckets and now want to tackle the tailgate. Does anyone have any advice from previous experience or general knowledge of removing the tailgate interior panel in order to install chrome handle?

you have to take the whole rear panel out to get to the handle.... 15-20 minute job or so

hi make sure you do it where its warm, so you don't crack the panel. Its -10 where i live today.
