Light bar durability...

Let's say I want to take a load of 12' 2x4's, or a couple extension ladders on the top of the HUMMER...

With the above light bar.... will I risk damaging the lights??

I would say you probably would do some damge. Maybe some long strap of would along the length of the bar to bring the bearing surface up above the lights would help, when carrying a load. I know mine is a bit lower than yours but not sure if its flush. I'll have to look later.
