my questing is it worth it. I have lifted truck and steering wear is excessive I can drive it like 5000 miles and thats it... This support kit is supposed to reduce wear and make the steering feel more firmer, does it work?

How are you driving it that you're wearing it out in 5K miles?
I put over 50K on my first lifted H2 and almost 10K on this one and both drive like factory.
Other than Cognito upper control arms and Fabtech tierod ends (which is a needed mod) the front ends are stock.

Shouldn't this Cognito kit work with my 08 too?
Isn't the design of steering system the same all years of H2s?
I want to know because I was just about to order this kit from Cognito.
I heard this was the common problem with all of GM's previous 2500HD trucks (H2 being one of them). And one is advised to install this kit to prevent inevitable failures with said weak tie rods even for the H2s in stock form.
hi some guys were having problems with Cognito ider arm and pitman arm kit hitting before the stops.

I think its that trails here in Finland are very narrow on road and excpesially off road and my hummer is 2.6 meter (8.53 feet) wide.
