Roof Rack Installation Help

I just bought a set of roof racks off a guy that was turning in his h3 for $50. But I cant get them to latch in place... is there instructions or some trick that i'm missing. i took the end caps off... put the 4 black plastic pieces in the bottom and they still seem to move around on the top of the truck. don't seem took secure.

There are little noches in the track,they must line up .
A little manhandling back and forth in the right spot should work.
Its not the best design.

hes right. if you look closely at the rails there are squares grooves cut out. thats the lock points. you may also need to tighten the latching catches up a little to make sure they are completely locking down. when you have them right they are pretty secure
