Detata Platoon Rims....in black???

I purchased a used 2005 (yellow). She sits on 35 inch Toyo's LT325 60R20. For rims, black Detata Platoons. I suspect they were painted black because they are starting to peel, not chip. Can anyone confirm that the Platoon's did or didn't come in black?

I have a set that are chrome and the chrome is peeling like a mofo. I havent seen them in black anywhere. The previous owner probably painted them black as you suspect.

I had a set of chrome Detata rims (not the platoons) on a trailblazer, they peeled completely within 2 years.

Well if the chrome peels also then I guess I will repaint it black. At least until the tires have to be replaced and then I will down size because I don't care for the ride of the 35's.
