We ended up buying the 2006 Pacific Blue Limited Edition (pictures forthcoming). I'm trying to reset the Average Fuel Economy but I don't know if I'm actually doing it correctly. The Owner's Manual says to press and hold the select button for one second. Is the value supposed to be reset to zero? It stays the same for me.
Thanks.

With the Avg economy visable in the info center, press and hold the select button for 1-2 seconds, the counter will reset to 0.0

I rarely reset the mpgs unless on vacation, but I reset the gallons used with the <__] steering wheel button every time I fill up.

Also works to reset the oil life %. I reset after each oil change.

My fuel used has never been reset from what I can tell. I know I have not reset it. 1,729 gallons for 21,500+ miles. Around 12.4 mpg average.
