Ok, my truck is a 2005 stock height. It sits level though, and I am wondering how to tell what method was used to level it. I was under it today greasing the front end, and I noticed that the front bump stops are in full contact with the lower control arms just sitting on flat ground. Is that normal? I have noticed that offroad the front wheels don't seem to "stuff" up as far as the back wheels under articulation. Could this be why, or do they just not move up very far.

I took a couple pictures of it and also of the torsion keys. The torsion keys are all rusted, whereas all the parts around them are not. Can you tell if the keys have been replaced?

Here is the bump stop:

Does anyone know if those are the stock bump stops? Are the stock ones supposed to be touching the LCA?

Can anyone say how I would tell if the keys have been changed or just cranked?

Anybody? :(

The bump stops on on my stock suspension do touch the LCA, the keys are just as rusted and the bolt looks like it hasn't been turned up on yours. The only difference that I can see is that your torsion bar sits a LOT snugger in the LCA hole then mine. So it looks like you got some new LCA or your ass doesn't sit as high as rest.

I measured the back but it has been sitting for the past month with no start, "160 Overhaul"

Hmmm. I'll have to measure it front and back and see where it sits. Anyone know what the normal range is for stock height? I guess I'll measure to the lip of wheel opening.

Like i said, I haven't started this truck in a while so I don't know how accurate this measurement is.

I always take measurements from the ground up to the front and then the back of the rock bars on each side. If I remember right, mine is 18" at all four points...that's with BFG 37s and a Cognito leveling kit.
