I am working on painting a set of factory wheels. I am almost done stripping the clear coat with aircraft stipper. That clear coat is tough stuff. There is a chance that I will have them powder coated.

The only thing I have left do are my wheels. As soon as I get them done, I will post. I say the only thing, but I am not sure that I want to tackle the door pulls.

I used the aircraft stripper to remove the paint of a set of street bike wheels and it worked fantastic. That **** is heavy duty so be careful with it!

It burns like a son of a gun when it hit skin.

I just had a set sand blasted. I thought they were clear coated, but the blaster said that they are actually powder coated, and it is a really thick hard powder coat. IT cost a little extra because it took longer to blast it off.

My wheels are at the powder coater. I should have them back next week. Color is satin black. The spare is chrome and I may just hit it with some paint and hope it sticks.

I am doing mine with bed liner. My spare is also chrome. I might try to scuff it and spray it with bed liner too. It should hold fine for just the spare.

Scarsman, you are doing your door pulles with bedliner?

I haven't started yet, but that is what I am thinking about. I think it might be tougher than paint, and it would be textured a little that way too.

I did one tonight with duplicolor. It appears to be OK. I am going to do the others later tonight. It takes a lot of taping...
