What do all the icons on the forum mean?

Maybe not the right place to post this, but I can't seem to find a "general questions" forum on this website. Is there one, and if so, maybe a moderator could move this post please.

I need to ask:
What does the "reputation" icon do in posts? Does clicking it give the post-er add good reputation or bad reputation?

Is there a legend that explains this and other symbols (e.g. what defines a "bad post") somewhere on this forum? I could not find it...

OK, so now somebody leaves me "reputation" again for posting this thread. Makes not logic...

Hey ssgharkness020147: by "red rep" do you mean BAD reputation? If so, why would someone post me bad reputation for asking you this question? Was it you who gave me points?

Can a moderator PM me so that we can sort this out. :mad:

And another thing. Leaving somebody reputation should NOT BE ANONYMOUS. I would like to see who is doing this, and I am sure every member on this board would like the same courtesy.
