Well.... wanted to post the updated pics since i washed the mud off for the first time in months....HA!
I've added a Rancho lift to my truck stacked up with rear spacers and turn keys totalling to 7" lift believe it or not, added 40x16.5x20" Pitbull Rocker Tires and 20x12 Fuel Offroad Octane wheels. While I was doing the upgrades I decided to upgrade the hubs, all ball joints and went with HUGE red RareParts Tie Rods. Blacked out some more parts and still not done.
Next week i'm getting the dual-shock arm system for the front and blacking out more stupid chrome parts. It sits over 8 feet tall and it looks sick going down the road. So there will be more pics coming but here are some to give you dudes an idea.

enjoy....

HOLY MOLY!!! You got all that meat under there with a rancho and spacers/keys!!! INSANE!!! Truck looks sick!! Guess im adding spacers and keys to my Fabtech and stuffing some 40" meat or 44's LOL

Looks good. But be careful when putting spacers under the coils. Too big a spacer can be unsafe. I had a VERY reputable shop look into giving me some more lift out of my Fabtech, and they would only go so thick before it was deemed unsafe. I think they only put about a one inch thick spacer in...maybe a tad more.

But your truck really does look sick!

Thanks guys, yeah I've had no problems at all with the spacers, looks a hell of a lot better a little taller and I get ZERO rubbing issues what so ever.... well that and also the -44mm offset of the wheels do help as well.

Hope you likes and BigZ you should come see it sometimes this week bro, i'm out of town this weekend.:beerchug:

That looks way cool! Funny thing is, without the H3 or something to give it scale it really doesn't look that big. It just looks "right". How is the power now with the 40"s? Have you regeared? Do you have any engine or tranny mods?

ROUSHDEMON
08-10-2010, 08:07 PM
well I mean, its an 03... power was never really there to begin with ha!... and No... absolutely not, I dont regret it at all, I actually love it I love being super tall and look down at every single car that is looking up in awe, i'm used to my Roush being super low to the ground so its a totally different "tank" feeling.
I dont have any tranny or power upgrades besides intake, but I am thinking about getting gears down the road for sure. No problems at all tho.

Looks awesome reminds me of my H2 but black instead of white. I think it needs a set of E&G fender flares. ExpeditionHardware.com is where I got mine. You might have a problem getting the dual shock as I believe Rancho and Fabtech both discontinued it.

Cognito still offers a dual shock hoop that works with their UCA's, if it works with lifted applicated like that I'm not sure of.

Rancho makes fender flares? Even those E&G look like the Bushwackers...?

Cognito dual shock does work with the Rancho or Fabtech lift. I inquired with Cognito because I wanted their control arms but the said the arms would lift the front about 2" and my Rancho dual shock would have to come off.
If you found a Rancho dual shock scoop it up. I installed mine in the driveway. It took about 3-4 hours. I also added a 3rd shock in the stock location because the truck handles completely different with the dual shock and I didnt like it and wore out some frontend part prematurely. The 3rd shock I put in is a Rancho 9000xl adjustable I leave it on #1 setting just to take some of the bounce out of the dual Rancho 5000 shocks. It also makes it handle like it did prior to the dual shock. It is alittle stiffer but it handles awesome onroad and offroad.

Alright... what??? lol... you mean that they design this dual shock mounts and they suck???
Please tell me more about that.

The design of the dual shock is awesome but the Rancho 5000 shocks it comes with are very bouncy. Instead of the shocks being connected to the lower control arm they are connected to the upper control arm. It does change how the truck handles. I didnt mind the ride with the dual shock but I hated the bounce hence the adjustable 3rd shock in the stock location. My H2 handles awesome and really digs in to turns on the road but is a stiffer ride then you might prefer. The dual shock looks awesome on the truck but will take some getting used to when driving. If I could find Rancho 9000xl adjustable shocks to replace the ****ty 5000s the dual shock came with, I would remove the 3rd shock.

ROUSHDEMON
08-20-2010, 10:51 PM
Well... I got them on, I actually think it rides way smoother, and it looks pretty cool too!
I dont think I like the white shocks tho... with my truck being all white, I might take them out and paint them black with red rubber... Not sure yet.:notallthere:

Well like everybody with 40's will tell you.... GEARS!... haha, its really not terrible but it does lack some Flindstones feet, lol that will be something down the road..

As far as the wheel/tire set up, I love it!... But I just saw that FUEL just came out with the new 20x14... RIGHT after I bought mine and I wanna get my hands on them now... (my wife is not happy about it:twak: ) so I might just buy a whole new set of wheels and tires and sell these as a combo set, they have less than 500 miles on them right now, so we'll see;)

Thanks for the compliments tho!:beerchug:

Thanks buys, Love the Pitbulls, besides the fact that the do shake a little between 50-55mph when they tires are cold, once they warm up they're fine.

Andres, what size spacer are you using in the rear and what make keys are you running?

Truxx keys, and the 1.5" rear spacers, the ones you find online really makes it 2-3" depending on your rig, not sure why it does it but it does come up higher than 1.5"s.

No problems at all and I replaced my CV and ball joints while I had everything off for the lift kit to go in, and no, no gears yet, later this year for that.
