I was looking for ways to air back up and figured there must be small high pressure tanks out there that are for this purpose. I didn't think they would be quite so spendy, but I think it would be a great investment though.

Looking at their chart, it looks like the 10 lb bottle would air 16 of our stock size tires from 15 to 35 psi. The 15 lb bottle would do 24 tires. That is pretty good.

Anyone here run this set up or something similar? Here is a review of the Power Tank:

Don't the Air Suspension models have the compressor in the rear that can be used to inflate the tires? Or maybe I just made that up...

...if I'm right though, does anyone know if the compressor can be installed on a truck that doesn't have air suspension...just to be used to inflate the tires (or air matresses, or beach balls, or whatever.)

The Powertank unit is awesome! I have had one for about 4 years and just recently had the tank recertified which you have to do every 3 years. I have the 10 lb tank and it will air up probably 4 trucks from 20 lbs.

My H2 has the air suspension with the air hose attachment but you could take a nap while you air up your tires this way. The Powertank takes less than 1.5 minutes to go from 20lbs to 45lbs on the 37" that I run off road on the H2.
