I've contacted Jason on several occasions (PM's) and have never heard back from him. I realize the Hummer brand has died but who's still running this show?

well im grateful someone is.

i check this site multiple times daily to see whats going on and what i can help with.

if you think the site sucks, well then you put up your money to make this site better, or make one yourself.. but considering where the Hummer line is right now, im sure any new Hummer site will fail pretty fast.

which brings up another thing..we have until April 2012. I am not saying the site will end then, but Honestly, if i owned the domain name, i doubt i would put any money to keep the name alive unless the site is actually doing something or going somewhere. plus add in the costs of website hosting, and the other odds and ends...

there are other forums out there, but i honestly like the feel of this one.

I'm here because in 2003 I bought my H2 and found and became a member of this site. At the time this site was the best, Great people and lots of good information. Back then Jason was very active in the workings of this site and communicated with all of us. Then he dropped of the map, didn't post and several treads he started went dead. More and more people left the site and newbies were treated like s??t. Most questions that members had about their Hummers went unanswered. That's what I meant when I said "this site sucks". (compared to how it once was). As for why I'm still here, I've been a member since 2003 and it's become a habit to check out what's going on in the Hummer world.

I heard there is a deal pending with the Chinese to take over this site. Still waiting for some approval from the Chinese government though.:clapping:

I'd rather own a piece of automotive history then a truck who sold out to the Chinese... :lame:

You know what was odd the other day, last thrusday to be exact. I stopped in the old Hummer dealership in South Bend, IN because I've tried 4 different ****ing aftermarket rearwindow wiper blades and none of them fit the damn arm, so I was just going to buy a GM parts one.

A sales guy stopped me before I even made it to the door wanting to buy my rig as-is, which I said no way. Said the demand for the trucks has gone back up, they can't locate enough used ones to even keep on the lot. I said it was to bad they went under. He then said I have good news, were close to the source, its not official yet but GM's picking back up Hummer.

I dont know if this guy is full of ****, never been to that dealer before. I havn't been able to find any new news on this, but I'm assuming his source is the hummer plant about 20 minutes away.

My buddy knows a guy (met him through CL, selling used H1, H2 rims w/ holes drilled in the tires (eliminate liability?)) that works at the plant w/ the test track. Trying to get a hold of him to see if there's any validity to this.

Let's hope it is true, but I have my doubt's.

Ed G has been here since 2003 with only 358 posts????:notallthere: It sucks cuz your hardly involved from what I see!! I happen to love this site and its a great place with alot of great people that have helped me alot along the way. I have checked out other sites myself and yes this one seems to be just right!!!
