I plan on moving to the hood in a few weeks and Allstate insurance covers everything on my H2, except the rims. Which insurance company will cover 4k in rims and tires?

Most companies will cover them but you need to pay additional. You would need to ask about adding a an endorsement that covers additional accessories/upgrades and specifically list other items being added to the coverage. You would have coverage up to the limit of the price of the OE rims on the standard policy. Some policies have language in them that they will cover up to a certain amount of add on's without having to list them on a seperate endorsement. The agent you are speaking with may just not know his/her policy that they are selling. Ask to speak with an underwriter and/or ask to see a sample auto policy and read it yourself...

Farmers will for sure. I have additional coverage of $5000. on my rims and $6000. on my stereo. It's not really that much more expensive either. Be sure to make sure it's written on your policy.

USAA is an excellent insurance company. I had them when I was younger . They cover most anything.
