We bought a 32 ft motorhome and want to tow the H2 behind it when we go away. We are being told that the H2 weighs too much for the Motorhome and that it is not wise to tow it.
Does anyone out there have an RV and an H2 and can give me some insight on this?
Thanks

I know mine weighes in at 8,863 lbs and your going to half to put it on a trailer or If a tow dolly is used with the front tires up on it and you'll have to disconnect the rear driveshaft when you tow it !

The H2 can be flat towed (read your manual on how to put your transfer case in neutral) but it depends on the tow rating of motorhome if you should pull it or not.

I pull mine behind a 40ft Country Coach with no problem. As mentioned earlier, it all depends on the trailer towing capacity of your motorhome.
If it can handle the weight there's plenty of info out there on how to set it up, or just have a professional do it for you.

what size is the motorhome? I have never done this, but have seen them being flat towed a couple times. Our last roadtrip we saw this and laughed as we always say that H2 is pushing the motorhome or Jeep or whatever is in tow.

I've seen it before, don't know how big the motorhome was though. It's been said, it just depends on your towing capacity. A prius could pull a hummer, but it couldn't stop it...
