I definitely feel your pain..I'm trying to sell mine and it's not looking promising. haha. They retail around $1200 and I think I'll have to sell it for a fourth to get rid of it!!

The thing is the shipping, that's what kills it. I dont reaaaaally need one but I would get one cuz some a$shole stole my pin for my carrier (its an 03), so I'm running around with a rusted shizzle tip holding it from opening when driving, its silly that I would have to get a whole new one just cuz of that pin but if it was cheap enough I would consider it.

Not sure what your pin looks like, mines an 07 and has a thumb push tip to pull the pin out.
I work around F-16's and we use these kinds of pins alot.
I got to thinking these things should be fairly accessible once you find the right source; would you post a pic so we can see what you're dealing with--maybe once of us can figure out a suitable or better replacement for it.
Unless you just like spending lots of money for little gains? :)

I want one but the shipping to Fargo is probably going to kill any chance of a 'deal' on anyone's end.

Yea man, I'll get some pics, the set up is way different from 03-04 and 05 and up. the new"er" set up is way easier to deal with, the old style you have to take out a dumb 1/2 pin (which can get frozen shot when its 12degrees out) and the put it back in to lock the arm in place.
Anyways, I'll post some pics of the set up but I dont have pics of the pin.
Can someone with an 03-04 post a pic of the 1/2" pin that closes the Swing arm please?
Thanks a lot.

Roush why don't you put a locking hitch pin in your carrier ? Thats what I think I am gonna do. I'm gonna look into it tommorow.

Man I went to AutoZone and tried like 4 different ones, none of them really worked right, let me know what you found out, I'll try whatever.

After many months I sold mine to a limo company for $200. I was moving and not about to take it with me.
