I have watched a few of you guys do this to your Hummers so I had to give it a try. 1 rattle can of semi flat black paint and some masking tap mother nature did the drying and I did the wrenching. simple cheap and nice effect.

Hey Norm, lookin good. Back in Germany for a few weeks. Gonna check on the Hummer (in storage) and get the new coil mounts bolted on. Still waiting on the gears and tranny to get installed (3600 euros....). I want a front cover for my lifted rig....do you or anyone know where to get one for a Fabtech 6 inch lift? I may have to have one custom made.

Looks good! If it does get chipped up from everyday driving and you do choose to repaint I suggest 2 cans of Bedliner. They come in rattle cans. I used the kind made by 3M. Haven't had a chip yet, been a few months. To the EuroHummer guy, I had my H2 lifted 6" and they kept the stock skid plate in it's location. So you wont need to make one or look to buy anything aftermarket.

I wish someone made a flat skid plate without the H2 logo...

Jonny I think you are going with a bigger lift kit anyway and wont need the skid plate anymore but I think you would have to have it custom made.
