Any cc's you suggest? How bout full exhaust that includes, incorporates, or works without the cc? The reason I think it's bad is I hear a tingle ling coming from under the drivers door when revving or going over small bumps. The check engine light comes on during long trips bit goes after it cools off.

Tingling sounds like it could be an exhaust bracket. Without the engine code it would be a wild guess on the check engine light, but there is a history with the pre cat oxygen sensors going bad around 60,000 miles and only coming on after the engine gets warm. Even if it is the cat, the H2 is exempt from emission inspection in my state because of its gross weight and no one would know if I just ran a straight pipe there.

There is a shield on top of the cat that would make the noise your describing. Fix is a big ass band clamp or rip it off.

If you do swap out your cat, dont throw it away! Theres platinum in there, worth more than gold. Recycle it for mod money :)

you don't say whay year H@ you have, but the gov't requires that cats be covered under warranty for alot longer than the vehicle warranty. Check your owners manaual. I think it's about 8 yrs or 80,000 miles.
The noise could also be paricles inside the cat that come loose over time.

06 45k miles. I had a cat go bad on a z71 suburb. Sounds like the ceramic particles loose in it. I will check on warranty. Thanks.
