Got caught in a hailstorm yesterday. I had to drive to TN to pick up a cage and on the way back, I pulled into a rest area to close my eyes for a few minutes.

I had just made it out of the NC mountains and when I started the truck, the hail started coming down about the size of marbles.

Before I even made it out of the parking lot, the ground and grass was COVERED in white. The hail was now the size of golf balls.

I tried to drive out of there but couldn?t get out fast enough. The truck didn?t get any hail damage but that damn tonneau cover looked like a fat chick did a lap dance on it.

I traveled from Florida to New York and traveled on I-77N. That was some crazy weather. I thought my wifes DTS was going to be covered with dents. Thankfully couldnt find any.

Mark,
Hail overnight at the Lake of the Ozarks too. It was marble and pea sized, of short duration, and didn't damage the H2. This has given me incentive to clean the junk out of our garage at the cabin so I can get the Hummer in. I remember someone else having their rear cover hailed and spraying it with a coating of something afterwards.

Still loving my Line-Xed cover. It's amazing that hail that big really doesn't do much to the trucks body!

Someone asked me the other day, "you take that thing out when you know severe storms are forecast?"....I responded, "I can't imagine a vehicle I'd rather be in during a storm". :beerchug:

My truck has been hailed on twice in the past 2 weeks! Needless to say not a scratch. Mark can you paintless dent repair your bed cover ?

I was picking up a roll cage for my UTV. I had a company build one in strawberry plains??

We just sold some property in Jamestown and it was around there.

Yeah, I would have but I drove there, loaded up a roll cage and hauled my butt back.

Perhaps when I have some more time...

Looking at it again, I guess it does have too many dents to PDR. Well Rhino liner looks cool and it will definitely be hailproof !
