Wanted to say thanks to all for being so supportive through the years.
I sold my 08 H2 and got this brand new 2011 GMC Sierra Denali HD Z71 4x4 with the Duramax Allison Trans. + every single option available. I have to say it's an impressive truck. I will always miss the H2 but after driving this truck, I won't be looking back.

Hi Don, nice new ride. Did you trade the H2 in on it?

Thanks Tracy,
No, I actually sold the H2 to a local dealership ..then i just went into the GMC dealership and told them the dealership will generate a draft for $ on the trade.
Hi Don, sorry to see you go!! and to lose a hummer owner on the forum but good luck with your new ride!!!!:beerchug:

Damn nice choice. I wish the H2 Hummer would have gotten the 6.6 Duraman/Allison treatment before they shut it down

thanks guys.
Choice was 2011 F250 King Ranch w/the new diesel or the 2011 GMC Sierra Denali HD w/the Duramax (allison trans).
I drove both and compared both.
I thought the F250 had better seats as it seemed like a couch.
However, I'm somewhat skeptical w/their new diesel engines. Ford states it gets better gas mileage, but at what cost? (down the road)
Plus, GM w/their Duramax - it's proven to last.
Another minor factor, I needed factory entertainment dvd screen. GMC offered that just like the H2. That way, it's warrantied through the car manufacturer.
Ford doesn't offer it. Aftermarket products that aren't intergrated into the touch screen nav.
After considering all the reviews and opinions, I'm glad I chose the Denali

Nice. I've got an LTZ LMM and think its a great truck. My only bitch is the tiny HVAC selector buttons.

Cool truck.
I actually considered one but finally decided on the Raptor.
I couldn't get my dealer to give me a firm price on one so I went with the F*rd.
Also, was worried about some of the DPF issues that have popped up (both GM and Ford). I can't imagine what my disposition would be like after driving 600+ miles to the border at 55 MPH if the system goes into "limp home" mode on me down here in Mexico.

I heard Ford is worse. The Ford salesman told me the truck will stop if you run out of DEF. W/the GMC, it will go into limp mode on the next fill up.
Anyways, loving the truck. So much torque!

I know that's why I went with a gasser. At least I get 15 mpg now compared to the H2,s 12 mpg.
