View Full Version : H2 Radio Problem..
Original owner of a 2003 very early H2....115k, only fed 87 octane..basically problem free until the Bose Radio system started going in and out ..then totally nothing. After a few days of no use the battery was dead, pulled the radio and amp fuses, jumped and no problems...but no radio! Anyone else have this issue and is it amp related? I have researched a very early problem with this, but I saw nothing in the last year on your site..Thanks
PS...org BFG's changed at 78K and not unreasonable 12.4mpg

Changed out many amps for excessive key off draw and/or no output to speakers

Your Original BFGs made it to 78K and you get 12.4mpg???
You need to push the pedal on the right harder!:D :D
My BFGs had steal belts sticking out after 12k
My MPG is...Its a HUMMER MPGs are for hybrids!

I got 62,000 miles out of my original BFGs - I liked them so much I replaced them with the OEM BFGs.
WOW! got 37K on this set and they look new...

Man this thread got off topic QUICK.
I had 67k on my stock BFGs when I switched from AT to MT. I prolly coulda got another 10k on the road...but I was dead set on MTs after getting stuck in the mud at about 65k.
No more gettin stuck (yet), but he MTs do wear a lot faster...I've got about 30k on'em and I'm already shopping for tires to get installed before the winter.

Sorry about getting off topic, back to the original question.....
When I still had the factory battery I had problems with my radio, major feedback, cutting in and out. I installed an optima battery and haven't had an issue since. And have never needed a jump start again.
